Payments are accepted by checks (made payable to the American Nurses Association), MasterCard, or Visa. 

Purchases of $500 or more can be made with an authorized purchase order faxed to 770-280-4141 or mailed to the address above.

For orders from Maryland, please add 6% sales tax. For orders from Georgia, please add sales tax, which varies by county. For the specific Georgia sales tax required for your order, please call 800-637-0323.

A 20% discount off list price is available on orders of 20 or more copies of the same title.

Shipping Information

ANA’s online bookstore only offers standard shipping and handling. There are no weekend deliveries. Your order will be processed in 1-3 business days. Allow 7-14 business days for delivery within the United States. Allow 7-30 business days for international delivery.

Same-day shipping, overnight delivery, and next-day delivery are not available for online orders. For same-day shipping, overnight delivery, and next-day delivery, please call the fulfillment center at 800-637-0323 and directly place your order by phone.

Items cannot be delivered to a P.O. box.

Return Policies for All Purchases

All returns should be shipped by a trackable method, such as UPS or registered mail. Publications damaged in transit must be returned within 30 days of invoicing date for refund. ANA will assume liability for surface freight charges on defective or damaged publications returned to ANA within this time period.

Discounted books and promotional items are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Return Policies for Individual Purchasers

Returns will be accepted within 30 days of receipt, provided books are in unmarked and salable condition. Include a copy of the original packing slip when making a return.

Postage and handling charges are non-refundable.

Exception: All review courses, exams, and test booklets must be returned within two weeks of receipt in new condition (i.e., no marks, no tears, no discolorations). There will be a $23 fee assessed for the return of these items. No returns are accepted after the dates of any certification exam for which the review course was applicable.

Return Policies for Distributors

Returns must be received within 6 months of invoice date to receive credit toward future purchases, provided the return includes a copy of the original purchase documentation (i.e., packing slip or purchase requisition).

Postage charges will not be credited. The purchaser must pay both postage and freight for all returns.

Up to 50 percent of an order may be returned, provided the books are unmarked and in salable condition.
